Some report templates include image fields. When the form requires a photo, the AI assistant will prompt you at the right point in the conversation.

When photos are required

The assistant will ask you to take a photo when it reaches an image field. You might see a message like “Can you take a photo of the device?” When you do, tap the camera icon that appears in the conversation.

Taking the photo

Tapping the camera icon opens your device camera. Take the photo as you normally would. Once captured, it is attached directly to the correct field in the form, and you do not need to select the field manually.

Uploading an existing photo

If you already have a photo in your device gallery that you want to use instead, tap the gallery icon (next to the camera icon) and choose the image from your library.

Reviewing photos

After attaching a photo, you can see it in the form below the conversation. Tap the photo to view it at full size. To remove it and take a new one, tap the delete icon on the photo thumbnail.
Make sure your device has granted FieldPal permission to access the camera and photo library. If the camera does not open, check your device settings under Apps > FieldPal > Permissions.
